The Armpit Shirt is a V-neck shirt made entirely from armpit stains collected by the kind people at the Manhattan Salvation Army. The stains were collected over a ten-day period by professional sorters, and represent the thickest, pastiest, and crustiest armpit stains that the working classes of New York have to offer. These leather patches of tawny cloth were loving arranged into a pattern and sewn together with a Singer sewing machine.
The actual armpit area of the shirt has been augmented with patches from a brand new T-shirt, so that the wearer can add their own armpit stain to the montage. The shirt was featured in by Favorite Shirt Museum but never returned. Guys--if you still have it, please return it. I know it's gross, but come on.
